It is built on the same 7.5-mil self-healing TPU, so you get the motorsport aesthetic and full paint protection in one film.
The pattern is printed and registered beneath a glossy protective layer, giving real depth and a convincing 3D weave that shifts as you walk around the car. It is a popular choice for hoods, roofs, mirrors, and full wraps on performance and luxury models.
Under direct sun the weave catches highlights and the carbon pattern reads strongest, emphasizing the directional texture. In shade the film settles into a deep, glossy black with the subtle weave visible up close.
Because it carries a gloss top coat, it shows water spots and swirls a little more readily than matte — but the self-healing layer removes light marks with warmth, keeping the weave crisp.
Care is the same as gloss PPF: pH-neutral shampoo, soft wash media, and avoid brush tunnels. A standard ceramic or gloss sealant is fine here and will deepen the shine and make the weave pop.
