Submit your shop information through our contact page. Our partnership team reviews your application within 1-2 business days, conducts a brief introductory call to understand your business, market, and volume expectations, then schedules your certification session.

Certification includes product knowledge training, a hands-on installation assessment with Paltrix film, and setup of your installer portal account. Once certified, you receive access to wholesale pricing, plotter template database, marketing materials, and listing on the Paltrix installer directory.

You need a commercial installation space with climate control (temperature and humidity management), professional plotter equipment (any major brand is fine), demonstrated experience with PPF or high-end vinyl wrap installation, and standard business liability insurance.

We do not require prior colored PPF experience — our certification training covers the specific techniques for pigmented films. You also do not need to be an existing Paltrix customer or have any prior relationship with the brand.

No fixed MOQ. Your initial order starts with a sample kit so you can work with the film hands-on, get comfortable with its handling characteristics, and evaluate it before committing to inventory volumes. Once certified, you order what you need per job or stock at whatever level makes sense for your shop's volume and cash flow.

Volume-based pricing tiers apply as your order volume grows, but there is no penalty or price disadvantage for starting small.

No exclusivity requirement. We understand that most shops carry multiple brands to serve different customer segments and price points. Many Paltrix installers carry our colored PPF alongside a clear PPF brand (like XPEL or STEK) for full-wrap protection, or position Paltrix Chroma as their premium color-change offering while offering economy films for budget-conscious customers.

The only commitment we ask is that you represent the Paltrix brand accurately and install our products to the quality standard covered in certification training.

Paltrix uses spectrophotometric color matching with a Delta-E tolerance under 1.0 between production batches. Each batch is measured against a master reference standard using a calibrated spectrophotometer and must pass both instrumental verification and visual inspection under D65 daylight simulation before release.

For metallic and pearl finishes, we additionally measure flop index (the change in reflectance as viewing angle shifts) to ensure consistent metallic appearance across batches. A Delta-E of less than 1.0 is below the threshold of human perception — two panels from different production batches will appear identical to even a trained eye.

Paltrix adhesive is a crosslinked acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) with three key properties optimized for installation:

• Medium-low initial tack — provides a 30-60 second repositioning window before permanent bond formation begins, giving your installers time to align panel edges and adjust stretch on complex contours.
• 25+ N/25mm ultimate peel strength after 24-hour full cure, sufficient to prevent edge lift even on high-curvature areas like mirror caps and bumper returns.
• Hexagonal micro-channel air-release pattern at 200-micron spacing, laser-etched into the adhesive layer, providing multiple evacuation paths for trapped air regardless of squeegee direction.

Fully compatible with standard slip solutions (baby shampoo at 1:200 dilution, or commercial gel-based slip agents). The adhesive's high crosslink density prevents surfactant penetration and "adhesive washout" — a common failure mode in economy films where lift edges appear 3-7 days post-installation.

Paltrix PPF is compatible with all major plotter systems: Graphtec FC and CE series (most common in North American shops), Summa S Class and F Series, Roland CAMM-1 GR and GS series, and DAP (Digital Auto Plotter) systems.

We provide vehicle templates in DXF and EPS format covering 2,500+ models from 2015 to present, with monthly updates. Recommended cutting parameters for colored PPF: 45° standard blade at 0.6 mm depth, 90-120 gf force (higher end for metallic/pearl), 25-30 cm/s speed. Note: metallic and pearl series films contain hard platelet pigments that will accelerate blade wear by approximately 30-40% — budget accordingly and inspect cut edges under magnification regularly.

Yes. Certification includes comprehensive hands-on training covering colored PPF-specific techniques that differ from clear film installation:

• Stretch limit management — colored PPF reaches its elastic limit at approximately 18-22% elongation (vs. 25-30% for clear PPF). Exceeding this creates visible stretch marks where pigment particles realign permanently.
• Heat and steam parameters — optimal temperature windows for forming colored PPF around deep concave panels without pigment degradation.
• Contamination protocols — stricter surface preparation because colored PPF opacity makes any trapped contaminant visible.
• Post-cure inspection checklist — what to check at 48 and 72 hours to catch and correct issues before customer delivery.

Quarterly advanced workshops are offered covering new techniques, new product lines, and complex installation scenarios.

Climate-controlled installation bay at 18-24°C (65-75°F) with humidity management. Colored PPF requires a cleaner environment than clear film because opacity means any trapped dust or fiber creates a visible defect that cannot be hidden by underlying paint color.

Specific recommendations: HEPA filtration or positive-pressure bay to minimize airborne particulates, IPA wipedown at 70% concentration (not the 25-30% commonly used for clear PPF), and tack cloth pass immediately before laying film on each panel. A well-lit inspection area with diffused daylight-spectrum lighting is essential for catching installation defects before customer delivery.

You can see exactly what is in stock before placing your order. Standard orders placed by 2 PM PST ship same business day; orders after the cutoff ship the following business day.

Domestic US: 2-5 business days standard ground, 1-2 business days express. International: 5-10 business days depending on destination country and customs processing. All shipments include full tracking and insurance coverage at declared value.

Volume pricing tiers apply to orders above 10 rolls. For shops doing consistent volume, we can set up regular standing orders with scheduled delivery to reduce your inventory management overhead.

Yes, at no cost. Every certified installer receives a complete 30-color swatch book with large-format swatches of every Paltrix color and finish, plus a retail display stand designed for your customer waiting area or consultation desk.

Additional sample materials and replacement swatches are available through the ordering portal. We also provide digital render files that you can use to show customers how specific Paltrix colors will look on their exact vehicle make and model during the consultation process. This is consistently one of the highest-converting sales tools our installers report using.

Absolutely. We offer competitive tiered pricing and purchase rebate programs for high-volume installers and dealer networks. As your order volume grows, your per-roll cost decreases through our structured pricing tiers.

Paltrix provides a 10-year manufacturer warranty covering: yellowing, fading, color shift, cracking, blistering, and delamination. The warranty covers material defects in the film itself — it does not cover installation workmanship issues, damage from accidents or abuse, or improper maintenance.

As the installer, you handle the customer-facing warranty process: you inspect the vehicle, submit the claim through your portal, and perform the replacement installation. Paltrix covers the material replacement cost. Installation labor is covered by your shop or can be added through our optional Installer Protection Program, which reimburses labor at a flat rate per panel for approved warranty claims.

Submit the claim through your installer portal dashboard with the following: clear photos of the affected area (wide shot showing panel location plus close-up of the defect), the original installation date and roll batch number (found on the roll label or in your portal order history), and a brief description of the observed issue.

Claims are reviewed within 48 hours by our technical team. Approved claims ship replacement material within 1-2 business days. For claims requiring technical assessment beyond photo review, we may schedule a video call or, in rare cases, an in-person inspection.

Every Paltrix installation should include three customer-facing warranty touchpoints:

• Warranty certificate — a printed document with customer name, vehicle VIN, installation date, film product and color, your shop information, and the unique Paltrix roll serial number. We provide a template you can fill and print.
• Warranty card — a wallet-sized card summarizing warranty coverage and care instructions, with the verify.paltrixppf.com URL for digital verification.
• Digital warranty registration — when the customer verifies their installation at verify.paltrixppf.com using their unique code, their warranty is activated in our system and they can access it digitally at any time.

This verification system also serves as an anti-counterfeiting measure, giving your customers confidence that they received genuine Paltrix product installed by a certified professional.

Full-vehicle colored PPF typically retails at $5,000-$10,000+ depending on vehicle size, color series (metallic and pearl finishes command a premium), and installation complexity.
