Polyether-Based Aliphatic TPU
The foundation of every Paltrix film is polyether-based aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane — chosen for its superior hydrolysis resistance compared to polyester alternatives. This means no embrittlement, no cracking at stretch points, and consistent performance across the full 10-year warranty period.
Cast-In Pigment Technology
Unlike surface-printed films that delaminate within 1-2 years, Paltrix fuses color pigment directly into the TPU melt during casting. Color runs through the full 7.5 mil thickness — no interfaces to separate, no surface layer to wear away, and no visible scratch marks because the same color exists beneath any surface abrasion.
Self-Healing Top Coat & Zero Orange Peel
An elastomeric polyurethane clear coat reflows under heat to erase minor scratches and swirl marks. Precision casting on mirror-finish chill rolls (Ra < 0.02 microns) ensures zero orange peel — critical for colored films where underlying paint cannot mask surface texture.
